FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Will your single serve coffee fit in a Keurig?
Yes! Our single serve pods are compatible with all K-Cup® brewing systems. Simply pop one in and brew as you normally would — no mess, no fuss, just great Carlsbad Coffee in under a minute.
What grind options do you offer, and which one is right for me?
We offer four grind options to match your brew method:
- Espresso Grind — Ultra-fine consistency, designed for espresso machines and Moka pots. Produces a concentrated, rich shot with a smooth crema.
- Standard Grind (Medium) — The most versatile option, ideal for drip coffee makers and pour overs. A great everyday choice for a balanced, flavorful cup.
- Coarse Grind — Best for French press and cold brew. The larger particles allow for a slower extraction, resulting in a full-bodied, smooth brew.
- Whole Bean — For the freshest cup possible. Grind just before brewing to preserve peak aroma and flavor. Works with any grind setting on your home grinder.
Not sure which to choose? A good rule of thumb: the longer your brew time, the coarser the grind.
How many cups can I make with a 12oz bag?
A 12oz bag yields approximately 22–24 cups of coffee, based on the standard ratio of 2 tablespoons (about 10g) of coffee per 6oz of water. Adjust to taste — a little more for a bolder cup, a little less for something lighter.
Do I need an espresso machine to make great coffee?
Not at all! Our coffee shines across a wide range of brew methods. Here are a few favorites:
- French Press — Use coarse grounds, steep for 4 minutes, and press for a rich, full-bodied cup.
- Pour Over — Use medium grounds and a slow, steady pour for a clean, bright brew.
- Drip Coffee Maker — The easiest everyday method; use standard grounds and your machine does the rest.
- Moka Pot — Use fine grounds for a strong, espresso-style coffee on the stovetop.
- AeroPress — Versatile and fast; experiment with grind size and steep time to dial in your perfect cup.
- Cold Brew — Use coarse grounds steeped in cold water for 12–24 hours for a smooth, low-acid concentrate.
No espresso machine required — just good beans and a little curiosity.
